You know the deal. I create work that's "grounded," "authentic," "organic," "(insert buzzword here)." You've seen lots of websites and read lots of bios so you get it.

The truth is that all of those are great adjectives and I hope my work exhibits each one. But my real goal is to take each project on its own terms and give myself in service to it. Film is both a craft and an art; sometimes you need a craftsperson to come in and execute, sometimes you need an artist to help you develop it - sometimes both.

Whatever the project, I hope to put my ego aside and collaborate to help it be the best version of itself. While we're at it, let's have fun, be generous, and foster a spirit of collaboration and teamwork. Let's make the damn thing.
